HOPPS Ghost Hunters

We're off to check out the area once known as Alvira, near the Allenwood Prison , on March 21st (tonight).  My wife (Sandy) and I drove out  just before sundown yesterday to do a quick survey of the area so I might better know the hazards out there and the lay of the land.  I found 6 bunkers total, with two of them opened.  At dusk I noted a lot of coyotes and fox howling --probably the pups ready for mom to go hunting to get them something to eat.  This is my main concern, the wildlife.  We don't need any attacks and we certainly don't want to disrupt them if possible. Still the chance is there, and based on the number of them I heard, the possiblity is a little greater than initially anticipated.  This is State Gamelands, so we need to be careful about how we affect the animals to the best extent possible. 

We've heard stories of a "devil dog" at one of the cemeteries, and of voices and noises coming from the sealed bunkers.  I guess we'll have to see tonight what happens.  WPI and HOPPS will be there along with some guests.  Probably 10 people for the investigation.  We're meeting at 7 pm, at the Surplus Outlet on Rt 15, then proceeding once we're asembled.  Time may be limited as cold weather will be a factor after sundown.

All I'm going to say at this point about last night is:  It got darned cold!  I was picking up 18 degrees by 10:30 pm out there and the batteries just couldn't take it.  Well, neither could we!  We shot some video, took lots of still pictures and audio recordings and now we'll have to analyze.  I did notice lots of dust in the air, so I imagine most of the things that will look like orbs will be dust, but we'll take a good look at the pictures anyway to see what else we might have caught.  Overall, it was fun, but very cold!

Damn... wish i could have gone with you guys, but it sounds like it was colder than when we went up about a month ago... certainly hope you guys had better luck than us...

Video analysis complete, with nothing significant to show.  Unless you want to hear my head hit the very large door hasp and sound echo throughout one of the bunkers.  Sounded harder on video than it felt.  I got an audio clip of a growl....who knows where that came from, and another of a voice that I can't identify the words.  I'll post them for comment, but to me they're not really anything to show and talk about.
