First, let me say if you're Christian, you should believe in demons.  It's in the Bible in several places, and if you've never seen it, then look it up before you go chasing ghosts.

I am skeptical to some degree.  A week ago I was 100% skeptical, now I'm not so sure.  I won't say what happened exactly, but there are things you should be aware of before deciding to provoke a response.

1.  If you provoke from the beginning, be sure you're prepared to deal with the consequences.

2. Your first attempts should be limited to establishing you're not there to threaten, try to intimidate, or try to remove anything that may be present.  You're merely trying to establish something is there.

3.  Be sure of your abilities and never try to overstep them.

4.  Be sure of your faith if you encounter something that feels bad.  This is the most important thing you can do.

5. Know when to call it quits.  Those hairs on your neck standing up and scratches on your (or a team member's)  back --that's a good sign you're getting in deep.

6. Leaving is not a sign of cowardace, it's a sign of prudence if you don't know what to do next.

7.  Don't do anything in an attempt to drive something off, unless you're 100% certain you know the steps (99% won't cut it.)

8. Don't be afraid to seek out help in areas you don't fully understand.

Remember hunting down the paranormal and documenting it can be fun.  But everything in life has a balance.  All good has an equal evil.  All fun has an equal amount of boredom in store for you.  All actions have an equal and opposite reaction.

My experience merely showed me these things.  It wasn't intentional, but rather from inexperience.  It didn't involve our team directly, but it involved an investigation we participated in and just seeing it and being there was enough to give you chills.

Keep in mind, if you have any areas of weakness in spirit, knowledge, demeanor, or good judgement.....you may end up with nightmares and possibly much more.

I agree with you John im sry one of the other team members got scratched at the mt carmal case but i did warn tim the house was and is still active no more bad things remain, those only spirits of human orgin...

Also I believe people get involved with the spirit world because of the attraction of the unknown and for the fun of it or merely they just wanna see somthing  not really understanding the consquences...which could become dangerous in the long run...I think people dont understand with the good spirits comes the bad negitive spirit ...these spirit can and will attach to you!! you can bring these things home with you and put others in danger or it may just play with the person, who it decided it owns! Making the person depressed to the point of wanting to take their life, making them feel like they are crazy, interfering with the person dream world to the point of breaking them down so the negitive spirit can become strong they sniff out your fear and feed off the energy!! My sugestion would be to make sure if  you want to hunt spirits you know what could be instore for you if you dont know how to protect yourself , you may become the hunted.... This is real stuff!!

I suggest always saying some type of prayer for protection before your team starts an investigation no matter where the investigation takes place.
