We tried to get permission to go to the Wildwood Cemetery in Williamsport but were told paranormal investigations would not be allowed to be conducted there.  Apparently, two weeks ago  a group decided to go in without permission and when questioned by staff, gave them a difficult time.  Now it's ruined for all the real teams who are serious about this.  I don't know who it was exactly, the staff member wouldn't say, but thanks to that group paranormal investigators have been given a black eye.  If you're part of the group that was disrespectful to the wishes of others, please do not contact our group, as we don't have time for that type of behaviour.  Again, I will warn anyone wishing to do investigations to get permission first, and "no" means no.  Public property does not include gated cemeteries or ones with posted hours.  Please be respectful of your hosts and the surrounding community!!  Public parks, gamelands, and most other areas supported by tax dollars or admission fees (like National Parks)  are considered fair game unless posted otherwise.  If in doubt, seek out clarification, never assume you have any rights!!  Those who assume are not real investigators, as they've missed step one, do your research first.  There are just too many groups without experience seeking a thrill and often not mindful of their responsibilities.  Enough said.
